The Mileage Group is Asia’s largest home-grown public relations consultancy. It has offices in 6 countries and 9 cities – Singapore (HQ), China (Shanghai), India (New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai), Indonesia (Jakarta), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) and Thailand (Bangkok).
In addition to its own offices in the region, Mileage is a member of MTI which is a global network dedicated to the shipping industry. Through MTI Network, the Mileage Group handles the bulk of shipping crises in the region. Mileage is also a member of Public Relations Global Network (PRGN). This is an international organisation of leading independent, owner-operated public relations agencies working together to serve clients’ needs with local knowledge and global reach. It is an invitation-only network with 40 member agencies and more than 50 offices worldwide based in the United States, Central and South America, Europe, Canada, Pacific Rim, South Asia and the Caribbean.
Mileage Singapore was incorporated in 1992 and occupies its own building. The Group’s expertise is in diverse industry sectors such as consumer/lifestyle, corporate finance/investor relations/IPOs, infocomm technology, healthcare/pharmaceutical, shipping, crisis management and sports.
Our Expertise
Crisis Management:
Mileage Communications is a leading player in Crisis Management in Singapore. It has handled more than 50 cases including numerous high-profiled incidents such as Slim 10, Raffles Town Club, Nicoll Highway Collapse, AIA (Critical Year Option), Collision of RSS Persistence (navy ship). Outside Singapore, Mileage’s expertise was deployed to render damage control in the bombings at Marriott Islamabad and JW Marriott/Ritz Carlton in Jakarta.
Financial Relations/IPO:
Mileage has a solid track record of handling financial relations, including taking companies to their successful public listings. Post-IPO, Mileage has been involved in investor relations for many local and foreign companies listed on the Singapore Exchange.
Media Training:
Mileage conducts crisis communications training regularly for shipping and shipping–related companies. It also conducts media training courses for CEOs, preparing them for the listing of their companies. Our training courses are conducted by our own experienced trainers, many with journalistic backgrounds. The training is comprehensive, involving lots of practical sessions and backed by many examples of cases handled by Mileage.
